Xavi Hernandez Expecting a Great World Cup 2022

Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez claims that the upcoming World Cup 2022 will be a historic occasion since it takes place in the Middle East for the first time. After several years in European football, the Spanish footballer left for the Middle East a few years ago. He has become a major brand ambassador for football in the Middle East. He is currently playing his football for Al SaddSc, who are based in Qatar. Qatar will be hosting the 2022 World Cup and it will be a winter tournament for the first time.

There has been a lot of improvement in the Middle East football over the last few years. One of the latest highlights came in the form of the AFC Asian Cup in which Qatar was able to defeat Japan under unexpected circumstances. As a result, a lot of focus has been put on Qatari football and Xavi says that quality has been growing a lot in recent times. This is a major boost for a player like Xavi, who is used to playing with a much greater quality of players during his time at Barcelona. Roads to stadiums completed

It is reported that 90% of the roads that will be leading the 2022 World Cup stadiums have been completed. The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar.

The Public Works Company known as Ashghal has stated that 90% of the highways that will provide access to these stadiums have already been completed way ahead of schedule. A spokesperson for Ashghal said that this is a great achievement for the company as Qatar is currently facing an economic blockade and despite that, they have managed to complete their assignment.

Does Qatar Stadium Which Would Host World Cup 2022 Resemble The Female Anatomy?

Qatar’s soccer stadium at a distance of 12 miles from Doha is getting prepared for hosting the World Cup 2022. The stadium with 40,000 seating capacity is almost ready. Only interiors, roof, and facades are in progress. The stadium is expected to complete by 2019 as mentioned by Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery and legacy. It was announced that the energy center of the stadium is fully completed. Hard landscaping and pending infrastructure is progressing.

As soon as the unveiling pictures of the stadium were out, the fans immediately observed the pinkish stadium in resemblance to a female body part. Soon, the internet was flooded with female genitalia memes and tweets pertaining to the stadium. The Al Wakrah stadium is designed by late Dame Zaha Hadid, a British Iraqi architect who passed away in 2016. She is popular for designing the Guangzhou opera house in China, Italy’s MAXXI museum and the aquatics center for London Olympics 2012. She was in the list of Times’s 100 most influential people in 2010.

ENVOY: FOOTBALL CAN STRENGTHEN RELATIONS BETWEEN INDIA AND PARAGUAY

The ambassador of Paraguay in India, Fleming Duarte, has said that the love for football can strengthen the relations between both countries aside the regular ties that bind them such as trade.

Duarte was interacting with members of the Merchants Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). Whilst speaking on cultural and people-to-people exchanges, the envoy said particularly the “love for football” can create bridges of friendship between his host city and his native. He called on Indian business men and women to consider making investments in Paraguay.

Russian supporters about the cost of the tickets

There is a concern among the Russian supporters about the cost of the tickets of the matches of the upcoming World Cup because the costs of the upper classes of tickets are too high for most of them.


The tickets of World Cup matches are divided into four classes. The first three classes are there to be bought by anyone, but, the last class which is the fourth class belongs to the Russian nationals and only they can buy them.

The thing with that fourth class of tickets is that their cost is significantly lesser in comparison to that of the upper classes and it’s been introduced with the sole purpose of facilitating the people of the moderate income group of Russia to go and watch the matches live from the stadium.
