Russian supporters about the cost of the tickets

There is a concern among the Russian supporters about the cost of the tickets of the matches of the upcoming World Cup because the costs of the upper classes of tickets are too high for most of them.

The tickets of World Cup matches are divided into four classes. The first three classes are there to be bought by anyone, but, the last class which is the fourth class belongs to the Russian nationals and only they can buy them.

The thing with that fourth class of tickets is that their cost is significantly lesser in comparison to that of the upper classes and it’s been introduced with the sole purpose of facilitating the people of the moderate income group of Russia to go and watch the matches live from the stadium.

But, the concern is that how many of those tickets of fourth class will be put on sale by the organizers? Also the local supporters want the organizing committee to make a request to FIFA to consider bringing down the costs of the upper classes of the tickets too.

However, as per Alexei Sorokin, the head of the organizing committee of the tournament, FIFA has set the costs of the upper classes of tickets and now it is not likely that there is going to be any negotiation as far as those costs are concerned, but, what the organizing Committee will do is to convince FIFA to let them reserve a particular share of each class of tickets for the local public.

The fourth class is obviously 100% reserved for the locals only and if they can have some percentage of the other classes reserved for them as well, they won’t have to face any problems with regard to the availability of tickets.
